The True Lauf Promise
We want you to fall in lauf with your new bike! That’s why we give you 30 days to ride it, test it, and see if it’s your perfect match. If it’s not, we’re here to help with a smooth return process.
What You Should Do First:
Before saying goodbye, let us help you get things just right. Small tweaks like adjusting the fit (stem position, saddle placement, etc.) can make a huge difference! Chat with our experts – we’re here to help.
The Trial Rules (AKA, Keep it Cool):
- No racing: Races are exciting, but they void the return policy.
- No major mods: Tubeless setups, waxing chains, or adding non-standard accessories (lights and speedometers are okay) will void the return.
- No epic travel adventures: Airline travel and certain bike racks can cause wear and tear that disqualifies returns.
- Keep it clean and safe: We’ll charge a $100 cleaning fee if the bike comes back dirty. Damage may also impact your refund.
How to Return Your Bike:
- Fill out the Bicycle Return Form within 30 days.
- Snap clear photos of all parts of the bike (we need those for insurance purposes!).
- Pack it carefully in the original box with all protective materials.
- Get a shipping label from the awesome Lauf CS team.
- Ship it back to us – we’ll handle the rest!
Fees for Returns:
- Size swaps: Free! (Because the right fit matters).
- Other returns: $100 for requests within the first 14 days; $200 for requests on days 15-30. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Got a frameset, Lauf fork, Smoothie handlebar, or other product? These items are eligible for a 14-day return policy if they meet these conditions:
- Unused and in mint condition: Keep them pristine!
- Original packaging required: Protect the goods.
- Exclusions: Water bottles and bib shorts are non-returnable.
How to Return Components:
- Submit the return form for authorization.
- Follow the shipping instructions provided by our CS team.
- Include a tracking number for peace of mind and make sure to provide it to the CS team.
- Note: Lauf is not responsible for products damaged in shipping or damaged due to insufficient packing.
